I’m a traditional artist from Denison, Texas. I graduated from Angelo State University in 2023, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art with a focus on painting and drawing. I have created a large body of work before, during, and after graduating from college encompassing topics of personal interest.
The majority of my pieces are acrylic paintings on canvas or wood, but I have experimented with a wide variety of artistic mediums, in both 3D space and the 2D picture plane. Some examples of different mediums I’ve experimented with are embroidery, printmaking, and scrimshaw.
Along with my art, I have an interest in American folk art/storytelling and American history from pre-colonial days to the modern era and my work reflects this interest.
