Texas Sculpts V: a juried exhibition celebrating sculpture across Texas

Texas Sculpts V is the ArtCentre of Plano’s annual sculpture exhibition—bringing together artists, patrons, and the public for a summer-long experience that highlights the range of work being created across the state. We’re building an exhibition that feels ambitious, welcoming, and worth the trip—for artists and audiences alike.

Why exhibit in Texas Sculpts

Artists participate in Texas Sculpts because it’s a strong platform: the work is experienced in person, photographed and promoted, and seen by thousands of visitors over the run of the show.

It’s also part of a bigger story—supporting the ArtCentre’s year-round programming and helping grow arts access in Plano.

Benefits for artists

  • Visibility over time (not just one night): a full exhibition run with ongoing promotion

  • Professional presentation in a public-facing environment

  • Connection to sponsors and patrons who actively support the arts

  • A growing legacy exhibition now entering its fifth year

The experience we’re creating

Texas Sculpts is designed to be a complete exhibition—cohesive, thoughtfully curated, and easy for visitors to engage. That includes clear signage, artist recognition, online visibility, and public moments that help the community connect with the work.

The galleries and surrounding grounds provide a welcoming, human-scale environment for sculpture, reflecting well on sponsors and giving artists a space where their work can be experienced at its true scale.
