Plano ISD AP Studio Art Senior Exhibition
The Plano ISD AP Studio Art Senior Exhibition showcases the culminating work of graduating seniors in AP Art and Design. Developed over the course of a year through inquiry, experimentation, and revision, the exhibition highlights each student’s unique artistic voice while celebrating the strength, creativity, and dedication of Plano ISD’s young artists.
The community is invited to view the exhibition and explore the thoughtful, expressive work of these emerging artists.

Judy Drotman Mother’s Day Celebration
Celebrate Mother’s Day in a meaningful way at the Judy Drotman Mother’s Day Celebration, one of the ArtCentre of Plano’s two annual fundraising events. This special afternoon honors Judy’s legacy, brings the community together, and helps support the ArtCentre’s mission and programs.
Jen Seibert
Jen Seibert is a Texas-based visual artist whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, with showings and residencies spanning New York, Paris, Italy, and beyond.
With a background as a tenured professor and a current teaching practice in Plano, Seibert brings a research-driven approach that bridges studio work, community connection, and the realities of creating in a digitally driven world.

Rescheduled: Artist Talk - Emmanuel Gillespie
Due to the potential for severe weather and out of an abundance of caution, this evening’s artist talk with Emmanuel Gillespie has been rescheduled for Friday, March 13, 6:30-7:30, at the ArtCentre.
Join us at the ArtCentre of Plano for an evening conversation with Dallas artist Emmanuel Gillespie, whose solo exhibition Joy is now on view.
Presented in partnership with Pencil on Paper Gallery (Dallas), this artist talk offers a chance to hear directly from Emmanuel about the ideas, process, and inspiration behind the work—and to experience the exhibition in a deeper, more personal way.
The discussion will be hosted by Suzy Jones, Executive Director of the ArtCentre of Plano, and Dr. Valerie Gillespie, Director of Pencil on Paper Gallery.
Free and open to the public (a $10 donation to the ArtCentre is always appreciated).

Emmanuel Gillespie, a visual artist with experience spanning painting and sculpture was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. With a rich educational background in scholarship and a profound focus on the Black experience in history, Gillespie’s work transcends mere artistic expression.
Call for Artists: Texas Sculpts V
Application deadline extended to Friday, February 27. Texas Sculpts V is the ArtCentre of Plano’s annual juried sculpture exhibition, built to showcase work being made across Texas and give sculptors a high-visibility setting where work can be experienced in person all summer. Apply via CaFÉ
